Taylor and Aaron are the current owners of Dreyside. 

We purchased and began renovating the chalet in the fall of 2020.

We weren't exactly looking to purchase a home, just casually scrolling on zillow. Right away, we could really see all the character and charm — from the beautiful wood floors to the wonderful open feel of the upstairs bedrooms, there were just so many features of this home that called out to us.

Taylor grew up in Lake Naomi. We couldn’t help but imagine how wonderful it would be to share special memories with our children in such a cozy space. We also really loved the idea of inviting friends up for a weekend-a day at the lake followed by gathering everyone around a fire pit or relaxing on the deck. We realized we could share this experience with more than just our family and friends- we could open up Dreyside as a rental space for all to enjoy. 

 

Have you heard the song “Little Houses” by Doug Stone? I think it truly nails how we feel about this quaint space. The chorus goes like this: 

Love grows best in little houses

With fewer walls to separate

Where you eat and sleep so close together

You can't help but communicate

Oh, and if we had more room between us,

think of all we'd miss
